Introduction
Welcome welcome! The game's name is Go, fish, and was submitted for the 'So Bad it's Good' Jam 2025 [modifier: Genre Fakeout].

About the game
Go, fish, or go, fish?

This is my first GameJam game, first GameMaker game, and first game ever! 

Unfortunately it could not be completed due to skill issues and the classic case of feature creep.

If I could come back to it in the future, I would:

• Fix the tier system for items (fishing rod, net, and bait)
• Fix the trading system where you're supposed to:
  • Sell fish for profit
  • Buy upgrades for your gear and fish simultaneously
• Add a secret ending once all upgrades are complete

The music may or may not work, but credits to: Pizza Doggy and "Dylan Cassidy"!

I hope the genre fakeout is easy to spot!
